The Pacific Crest trail goes right through the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie Forest. With snowfall up to 1100 inches in one season, Mt. Baker has the world record for snowfall! The slopes and trails offer the best powder anywhere for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Several area tour companies can facilitate rafting the Nooksack River, one of the last "wild" rivers in Washington and home to five species of salmon. After a memorable day in the Mt.
