Clearwater County surrounds the town with over 7000 square miles of some of the most beautiful scenery in western Canada, and offers great summer and winter wilderness recreational fun. Enjoy adventure tours, old-fashioned rodeos, heritage site camping opportunities, fabulous fishing, golfing, hiking and the city's museum, located in the same building as the Visitor Information Centre right off Hwy 11.
