At the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument where Custer’s famous "Last Stand" took place, visitors can tour the battleground and museum. Located across from the battlefield in the town of Crow Agency, the Custer Battlefield Trading Post has a wonderful selection of gift items and beadwork, including fully beaded cradleboards, and a great café offering buffalo burgers, steaks and world-famous “Indian tacos.”
Held in mid-August, the weeklong Crow Fair hosts the country’s largest modern day encampment of Native Americans with up to 1500 tipis and includes rodeo, horse racing, powwow and parade.
